Ms. Sherry

Hi, I am Ms. Sherry and I am the administrator of King’s Grant Day School. I have been in the education/counseling field for over ten years. I have a BS in psychology from George Mason University and a MA in counseling from Liberty University. My overall goal for KGDS is to ensure that each student receives an excellent education in a nurturing environment. On a personal note I have been married for over fifteen years and I have two wonderful children. I hope to see you at KGDS. If I can be of assistance please let me know.

Ms. Diane

Ms. Diane is the person to answer any questions that you may have about our wonderful schools or if you should have any questions about your account you may speak with her anytime.
Ms. Diane joined AEL in early 2004 as business manager. As business manager of Academy of Early Learning, Kings Grant Academy & Day School and Thalia Day School Ms. Diane manages accounts receivable, credit and collections functions, ensuring timely processing of billings, payments, and collections for our program revenue. She also oversees financial planning, acquisition, corporate development, and finance support for all business operations.

The Following are a few rules I like to live by:
Make eye contact. When someone is speaking, keep your eyes on him or her at all times. If someone makes a comment, turn and face that person.
If you win or do well at something, do not brag. If you lose, do not show anger. Instead, say something like, "I really enjoyed the competition, and I look forward to playing you again," or "Good game," or don't say anything at all. To show anger or sarcasm, such as "I wasn't playing hard anyway. You really aren't that good," shows weakness.

If you are asked a question in conversation, you should ask a question in return. If someone asks, "Did you have a nice weekend?" you should answer the question and then ask a question in return. It is only polite to show others that you are just as interested in them as they are in you.
We thank you for your interest in AEL, KGA&DS and TDS or being a part of AEL, KGA&DS or TDS family we look forward to many years of superior education together.

Wrinkles should merely indicate where smiles have been.  ~Mark Twain, Following the Equator
If you don't have a smile, I'll give you one of mine! Ms. Diane

Ms. Meg

Mrs. Meg Ditty Principal/Director
Thank you for visiting our web site, and allowing us to share about ourselves and our school. I am the Principal for King’s Grant Academy and the Director for the Day School. I am a transplant to Virginia, but am very happy and proud to call it my home. I have a husband and two wonderful sons, Jackson and Clayton. I received my Bachelors Degree in Psychology from California State University San Bernardino, and have been very blessed to have been given the opportunity to work for Ms. Sherry, and share in your children’s lives. If you are seeking out a private Christian education, please allow us the pleasure of showing you our school. Drop by any time for a tour.
