Welcome to King’s Grant Academy & Day School

Dear Parents:

We have much to discuss this month, and I’m so excited for all the new happenings. The Lion’s Club will be doing vision screening checks on Monday and Tuesday March 1st and 2nd for those who have filled out their permission slips. Permission slips will be available at the front desk should you need one. We also have our PreK4 and older field trip to see the Hurrah Players perform Tom Sawyer. If you have not gotten your permission slip and payment in to Ms. Venita yet, please do so. I want to make sure everyone who would like to attend is able to.

King’s Grant Baptist Church is hosting a Parent’s Night Out on March 12th from 6:00-9:00. Please sign up if you are interested in an evening out. Our staff members will also be helping out at this event.

We have been offered a wonderful opportunity for our families. Pastor Scott Chafee has offered to be our school Chaplin. Pastor Scott has a BS in Counseling and Guidance, as well as a MDiv in Pastoral Care and Counseling. He spent five years doing missionary service in Africa, and spent seven years on the International Mission Board. Pastor Scott has offered his service to all of our families. Should you or your family need any pastoral care or even just a kind ear to listen he would love to provide that for you. You may contact Pastor Scott through the churches’ phone at 340-0902.

Spring Pictures are this month!!! Academy students wear your good clothes and great smiles on Tuesday March 23rd and Day School students wear your good clothes and bring your great smiles on Thursday March 24th .

Yearbook information is about to go out! Keep your eyes peeled for info on great opportunities for free yearbooks and free tuition. Details will go home in your child’s homework folder.
